The certificates and other documents you are creating are some of the most important tools you will have in your life. When you learn to know everything about these documents you will learn to stand in your own power and then your voice becomes more powerful than any ‘reduced into writing’ document, which will stand as a second witness to your voice.
It is important that these documents are printed on high quality paper. White paper contains bleaches and will ruin the ink and signatures when stored for a long time. Parchment papers are the best but not craft parchment, try to find good legal quality paper, or at the very minimum use a parchment paper from your local office supply store.
The paper we use is 100% cotton Southworth 32lb, ivory. This paper is guaranteed for 100 years plus 1 year for each percentage of cotton. It is expensive, but one box of 250 sheets should be enough to cover all the documents for a family.
We also print and sign at least two original copies of every document we create for our own life, plus one for any other party, eg. For a trust there is three originals, one for the grantor and one for each trustee.
The paper we use can be found online and is not usually available in local stationers unless you happen to live in a large city. Links below to the paper we buy.
